Rulers had a tendency to engage in different wars to further their influence that they had on others. By participating in the war, they were able to show a different character to those they were among. Thus creating a new perspective for the soldiers. Warfare Fact #2 Warfare sometimes was able to shake the foundation of the community. When wars would happen there would be disputes with those who were suppose to be working together. Warfare Fact #4
Certain wars changed the overall fate of Indonesia and Indonesian history. For example there was a war in Aceh that lasted for 35 years and then the Dutch were able to control the tip of East Java. Warfare Fact #5 It was said that if you disobey the King then there would some form of punishment. If you did not do as the King said then war would be placed against you until you are eliminated. This helps the Kind command all the control and prevent an uprise from occurring. Warfare Fact #6 Warfare has a very dangerous side to it, as people are dying, civilians, children, women. These people did not know how to protect themselves, so they had to find a way to protect themselves. There was tendency for people to immigrate to different parts of Indonesia in order to stay safe. |
